Roadtripping with Lynard. Arizona Bound: Kaiser Hot Springs

On the way to the Grand Canyon, I found a primitive hot spring on google maps and I went. I walked from the road towards the hot spring down a rocky ravine through a winding dry riverbed to the hot spring. I passed a four wheel drive vehicle, looked like they might have been camping.

When I arrived I was alone and got in, took a pic or two. The hot spring is nestled on the bank of a dry river bed that has a short rock wall around it and a Pipe with hot water running out of it. I noticed clothes and towels hung on branches.

I figured I would be visited sooner or later. It was an hour after sunrise and the springs was in the shadow but the weather was awesome, it’s Arizona. I watched the sun creep down the cliffs that had those saguaro cactus towering upon them. When a lady, all by herself, entered the hot spring. I was pleasantly surprised. We smoked several bowls as we chatted for hours. I was astonished she had weed too.

A naked women with weed at a primitive hot spring in the middle of arizona. How cool was that? Hell, she was cool. I didn’t want to leave. Unfortunately, she didn’t want me to photograph her, which I can understand. But I did convince her to let me take one of her from behind, as to not give her identity away. From the hot spring to the grand canyon, I was trying to beat the sunset. I did have plenty of time, before making friends at the hot spring. But, now I felt pressed to proceed.
